This little study was created while I was trying to get my mosaic mojo back on a retreat in Lincoln City at the end of last year. I took the opportunity to do a series of small panels, that I then took to Bend, OR for the Bright Place Gallery’s annual show. They had an enormous show – 2000 pieces! Anywho, this one is still hanging around the studio looking for it’s forever home.
Marble and smalti (Italian glass) on a bed of gray and black thinset, all on a handmade thinset and fiberglass mesh substrate. Ready to hang!
